The accountability layer for coaches

Your coaching, between the sessions.

You can't be there every day. Your coaching can.

ShoUp calls your clients on schedule, in your voice, and comes back the next day, and the next. So nobody quietly slips away between the calls that matter.

IT CALLS. IT COMES BACK. NOBODY SLIPS.

The gap

The gap isn't in the session. It's in the six days after it.

Your clients leave the room full of intent. Then life gets in the way. The plan slips on Tuesday, slides on Wednesday, and by the next session they're a little behind and a little embarrassed about it.

Only about a third of clients actually stick to the plan once they walk out. In rehab, studies put it as high as one in two who don't follow through at all.[1]

Willpower was never the problem. Nobody is there in the gap.

~ 1 in 3clients stick to the plan after a session
up to 1 in 2don't follow through at all (rehab studies)
Why apps don't close it

Reminders wait. Your clients don't open the app.

Every other tool waits for the client to start. Log in, tick the box, message the coach. The ones who would do that were never your problem. The ones who go quiet are, and an app that waits is an app they ignore.

A call is different. A call comes to them. It's the one channel a busy, slightly-avoidant person still picks up, and the one that's almost impossible to ignore three days running.

So ShoUp doesn't wait. It calls.

How it works

Set it up once. It shows up every day.

01

You set the plan

Your questions, your cadence, your tone, your voice. The way you'd run the check-in yourself. That's your method, and it stays yours.

02

It calls your clients

On schedule, in your name. An AI in your voice runs your questions, actually listens, and responds. If they miss it, they get a text, not another ring. The next call is their next check-in.

03

It logs everything

Every call, every answer, who's on track and who's wobbling, in one place you can read in a minute before your next session.

04

It hands the moment back to you

When a client has a breakthrough, or starts to fall off, it flags it and books your real call at the point it counts. The daily grind is handled. The high-value coaching is still you.

Your brand, not ours

Can an AI check in with your clients in your own voice?

This isn't a service you refer them to. It's your program, on the phone, under your brand. Your questions. Your voice. Your name on the call.

To your client, it's you, showing up like you said you would. ShoUp stays invisible, which is exactly how a good accountability partner should work.

The handoff

It does the asking. You do the coaching.

The daily calls are the part you could never scale. The monthly breakthrough call is the part only you can do. ShoUp sits underneath both, doing the relentless follow-through, and putting you in the room at the moment a client most needs the real thing.

You stop spending your week chasing no-shows. You spend it coaching the people who turned up because something kept them turning up.

The evidence

Does checking in on clients actually make them follow through?

This isn't a hunch about motivation. A review of 138 studies, almost 20,000 people, found that monitoring progress toward a goal makes people meaningfully more likely to reach it. The effect was strongest when that progress was checked in on and said out loud.[2]

It gets simpler than that. In a separate run of studies, just being asked about a behaviour changed it. Asking people about their exercise lifted how much they actually did from 14% to 26% over two months. No coaching, no plan yet. The question alone moved the number.[3]

A daily call is both of those things, in their simplest form. Someone asks how you went. You answer out loud. You don't want to say "nothing" two days running. That small, regular moment of being seen is the whole mechanism.

Coaches have tools for scheduling, courses, payments, and community. The follow-through between sessions, the part that decides whether the client gets the result, has been left to willpower. That's the gap ShoUp fills.

Pricing

You pay for the calls you use. Nothing else.

How a monthly plan works
You pay the month up front and it lands as call credit, not a fee. Your calls and texts draw it down at your plan's cheaper rate. It resets on your renewal day, so whatever is left of that month's credit expires then. Money you top up yourself never expires. Start on pay as you go, and move up only when your volume makes the lower rate worth it. Rates are published, and you get 30 days notice before any of them ever change.
Text messages
$0.15 each. The check-in call is the heart of it; texts are for reminders and the odd nudge.
If you run out mid-month
We pause calls and texts at $0 rather than send you a bill you did not expect. Top up any amount, or renew your plan early at your own rate, and it picks straight back up.

All prices in Australian dollars and exclude GST. No setup fee. Close your account whenever you like; a month you have already paid for runs to its renewal day and does not renew again.

Permission, not surprise

Built on permission, not surprise.

Every client opts in first. The first thing the call does is ask how they want to show up, and for permission to hold them to it. That consent is the foundation, not the fine print.

Real phone calls, Australian numbers, run on a stack that's already live and tested. You stay in control the whole way: pause it, change the questions, or step in yourself any time.

Questions

Questions coaches ask

Is this a robocall?

No. It's an AI trained on your questions and your voice, and it holds a real conversation. It calls once, at the time your client agreed to, inside their own waking hours. Miss it and they get a text, not another ring. They can move the time or stop it altogether by replying.

Is it AI?

Yes, and that's the point. It's an AI version of your check-in, running your questions in your voice, so you can be in every client's week without being on every call. You stay the coach. It does the asking.

What will my clients think?

They hear your program checking in, in your voice, the way you would. They opt in first. Most people want someone in their corner between sessions, that's why they hired you.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You set your questions, your cadence, and your tone once. It runs from there. If you can write down how you'd check in on a client, you can set it up.

Can it use my voice and my method?

Yes. Your question set, your cadence, your tone, and your own voice. Your clients never hear our name or know we exist.

Is it only for fitness coaches?

No. It starts with health, fitness, and life coaches, and it works for any coach whose clients commit to something they have to follow through on alone.

What does it cost?

You pay for the calls you use, from $0.70 a minute, with no fee per client and no monthly fee. If your volume grows, a monthly plan prepays call credit and brings the per-minute rate down to $0.60. All prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.
