For CrossFit boxes, F45 + studio owners, and PTs

Catch the member going quiet, before the cancellation lands.

You can't text two hundred people on a Tuesday night and mean it. Your coaching can.

ShoUp checks in on every member between sessions, your AI in your own voice, notices the ones going quiet, and hands you back the ones who need you. Your members only ever hear you.

IT CHECKS IN. IT COMES BACK. NOBODY SLIPS OUT THE BACK.

The pattern you know

You always know how a member leaves. You just see it too late.

They train hard for six weeks. Then they miss a Monday. Then a week. Then the cancellation email lands, and it's already over.

It's almost never the programming. It's the Tuesday no one checked in. You know every member by name. You still can't be in two hundred people's week at once, so the quiet ones slip through, and you find out when they've already gone.

The stakes

Churn is the whole game. The numbers are brutal.

Boutique studios commonly lose a third or more of their members a year, and half of new members are often gone inside six months, as industry retention surveys keep finding.[1] For a 200-member studio that's replacing dozens of members a year just to stay even.

The budget gyms down the road are built to profit when members disappear. You're built the opposite way. You only win when people keep showing up. So the member going quiet isn't a small thing. It's the thing.

How it works

Set it up once. It shows up every day.

01

You set the check-in

Your questions, your cadence, your tone, your voice. Did they train, did they eat, how are they tracking. The way you'd run it yourself.

02

It reaches out, in your name

A call or a text on the schedule you set, in your own voice. To your member, it's you. If they miss it, they get a text, not another ring. The next call is their next check-in.

03

It logs everything

Every check-in, who trained and who didn't, who's on track and who's wobbling, in one place you can read in a minute.

04

It hands the right people back to you

When a member starts to fall off or asks for you, it flags them and puts you in the moment that keeps them.

Feasibility

The bar to pay for itself is lower than you think.

What it costs / 200 members, a text 3x a week + a call to the ones going quiet
about $730 / month
What one saved member is worth
more than $3,000 / year
What it takes to break even
3 members / year
What a studio your size loses now
dozens / year

ShoUp pays for itself if it keeps three of the dozens you'd lose anyway. Everything after that is yours.

Run your own numbers

ShoUp costs about$730/mo

Members you lose now76/yr

Cost = the ShoUp rate card (call + text, incl GST), targeted-cadence model. We don't guess your churn reduction. We just show the bar.
The maths of one saved member

A member at sixty dollars a week is worth more than three thousand a year.

Studios work on members staying about two years, so over a full membership that's well over six thousand dollars walking out with each one you lose.[2] Save a handful of those a month and ShoUp has paid for itself many times over. It's cheap insurance on revenue you already have.

Your brand, not ours

Can an AI check in with your members in your own voice?

Members never hear "ShoUp". They hear you. Your studio, your name, your voice, your tone. To them it just feels like a coach who somehow keeps up with everyone.

If a member ever asks, you tell them the truth: it's an AI agent you trained, checking in so nothing slips. Honest, and the kind of thing good members respect.

The evidence

Does checking in on members actually make them follow through?

A review of 138 studies, almost 20,000 people, found that monitoring progress toward a goal makes people meaningfully more likely to reach it. The effect was strongest when that progress was checked in on and said out loud.[3]

It gets simpler. In a separate run of studies, just being asked about a behaviour changed it. Asking people about their exercise lifted how much they actually did from 14% to 26% over two months. The question alone moved the number.[4]

A daily check-in is both of those, in their simplest form. Someone asks how you went. You answer out loud. You don't want to say "nothing" two days running. That small, regular moment of being seen is what keeps a member in the room.

Pricing

You pay for the calls you use. Nothing else.
