The quiet ones aren't fine. They're on their way out.
ShoUp calls everyone in your program on a schedule, your AI in your own voice, and hands you back the list: who is moving, who is stuck, who has stopped. Without adding a single coach.
ShoUp is run by ShoUp Pty Ltd (ABN 31 699 673 553), an Australian company. The demo makes a copy of your voice for one call to your own phone, then deletes it after 7 days unless you sign up.
An excerpt from the founder's own check-in. The caller is his AI agent in a cloned copy of his voice; the person answering is the founder himself. Shared with his permission.
The group chat looks alive. It's the same twelve people. They were never the ones at risk. The other hundred and eighty read, nod, fall a week behind, decide they're the only one who has, and stop opening the emails.
You find out at the end, when the completion numbers come in and the renewals don't. By then the person who needed one question in week two has been gone for a month, and you never had a way to know.
Nobody has ever been able to ring every member every week. That is the entire reason group programs leak the way they do, and it's the one thing that changed.
Your questions, your cadence, your voice. Where are they up to, what's in the way, what did they commit to this week. Ask a whole cohort the same thing, or give each intake its own.
A call or a text on the schedule you set, in your own voice. To your member, it's you. If they miss it, they get a text, not another ring. No fee per member, and no limit on how many you run.
Every check-in in one place. Who's moving, who's been stuck on the same week twice, who has gone dark. The list you could never build by hand.
When somebody is about to drop, or has just broken through, it flags it, so your team's week goes to the people it can actually change.
This isn't a service you refer them to. It's your program, on the phone, under your name. Your questions, your voice, your tone.
To your member, it's you, showing up like the program said you would. If they ever ask, you tell them the truth: it's an AI agent you trained, checking in so nobody gets left behind in a room this big. Honest, and the kind of thing members respect.
One coach can't check on two hundred people, so nobody does, so the program quietly leans on the members who self-start. Those members were always going to finish. The ones who needed a hand are your churn.
ShoUp asks all of them, every week, and gives your coaches a short list of who to spend the day on. Same team, pointed at the people who are actually about to leave.
A review of 138 studies, almost 20,000 people, found that monitoring progress toward a goal makes people meaningfully more likely to reach it. The effect was strongest when that progress was checked in on and said out loud.[1]
It gets simpler. Just being asked about a behaviour changed it. Asking people about their exercise lifted how much they actually did from 14% to 26% over two months. The question alone moved the number.[2]
A check-in call is both of those in their plainest form. Someone asks how the week went. You answer out loud. In a program of two hundred, it is also the only moment a member is spoken to as one person.
From $0.70 a minute, with no fee per member and no limit on how many members you run. A monthly plan brings the rate down as your volume grows.
That is what the demo is for. You read about thirty seconds out loud on the page, and a few minutes later your phone rings with your own voice on the line, asking the kind of questions your program would ask. You hear it before any member does.
If the take is too quiet or too short, you get another go. Nothing goes to a member until you have heard it yourself and set it up.
A short call from your AI agent, in your voice, asking the questions you set: where they are up to, what is in the way, what they will do this week. The questions are yours.
Every member is told before the first call, in the text they say yes to, that the caller is your AI check-in agent and that calls are recorded. The call itself introduces itself by the name you give it, never says ShoUp, and does not announce again that it is an AI. If a member asks, it says so honestly, every time.
A call that runs four minutes costs about $2.80 ($3.08 with GST) at the pay-as-you-go rate. Forty members reached once a week for four minutes each comes to about $112 a week ($123.20 with GST). Prices are in Australian dollars. A prepaid monthly plan brings the per-minute rate down; the full table is on the pricing page.
There is no fee per member, so a program of two hundred costs what its calls cost, and nothing more.
It does not keep ringing. A member who misses the call gets one text that day asking for a better time, and the next call goes to the time they give. A member who answers but cannot talk can ask for a ring-back the same day.
If someone goes quiet for a stretch, you decide what happens: a text, a welfare call, or a flag on your list so one of your coaches picks up the phone.
ShoUp is run by ShoUp Pty Ltd, an Australian company. What we keep, where it is stored and for how long is set out plainly on the security page, and the privacy policy covers the rest.
Your members' names, numbers and call notes sit on a server in Sydney that we run ourselves. The voice and phone providers are mostly US-based, and the security page names them. Any member can end it by replying STOP to a text, which stops the texts and the calls together.
You built the program to change how people show up. Let it show up for every one of them, not just the twelve who post.
Tell us about your program. We'll set up your questions and run a test call to your own phone, so you hear exactly what your members would.
